Preserving a Dying Art, Inspiring New Healers
We have modules for chiropractors and chiropractic students interested in treating newborns, infants, and toddlers. Additionally, classes are available for non-chiropractic professionals like doulas, midwives, and massage therapists and caregivers.
Classes take place in Montrose and Ouray, Colorado, with a certification in CranialMethods™ granted after completing all four classes.
Note: The principles taught apply to all ages. They are especially beneficial for caring for newborns, infants, and toddlers.
Week 1
Introduction to the basics of CranialMethods™ with a cranial/sacral emphasis. Participants learn to center themselves for better awareness, connect with the patient's body field to facilitate healing, palpate various rhythms, and understand cranial bones' range of motion.
Week 2
We dive deeper into anatomy, focusing on the membranous and nervous systems. The course integrates the entire body. The emphasis is on recognizing and addressing common whole-body distortion patterns, their release, and integration for comprehensive healing.
Week 3
This week focuses on the anatomy and treatment of the anterior neck, face, and mouth. We explore and address common distortion patterns in these areas, providing practical techniques for effective treatment.
Week 4
We bring together everything learned in the first three weeks, along with students' hands-on experiences in their practices. The focus is on the care of newborns, infants, and toddlers, allowing for a deeper integration of knowledge and techniques.
